Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we offer exclusive use to each appointment so please contact us beforehand so we can get you booked in.
Do all my bridesmaids need to be at the appointment?
No, it’s always helpful to have as many with you as possible but we know getting everyone together at the same time and same place can be a logistical nightmare! If some bridesmaids can’t attend, we will talk you through how to get their measurements so we can order the appropriate size dress.
Can I come and look on my own before I bring everyone?
Of course! We always welcome you to do this so you have an idea of the colours and styles you like. It can be a little overwhelming with so many opinions during the appointment!
How long do the appointments last?
We always allow 90 minutes per appointment, some brides have made the decision within half an hour and some utilise the full appointment.
How far in advance should I order my dresses?
This is completely up to you! We know the colour of the bridesmaid’s dresses usually set the theme for the wedding, if you want to get your dresses ordered early you can do! The latest we advise leaving to order is around 6 months prior to the wedding, this leaves plenty of time for the dresses to reach us and for any alterations.
What is the ordering process?
Once you have chosen a dress and colour we will then place your order with the designers. All the dresses are made to order so there is between a 3 – 5 month lead time on the dresses. We then always advise leaving around 6 weeks in case of any alterations.
What colours do your dresses come in?
Each dress comes in a huge colour range, this will vary depending on the designer and fabric of the dresses. We will show you swatches during the appointment.
What size do your dresses come in?
All the dresses are available in 0 – 30, they also come in extra length.
What about alterations?
We work with an incredible seamstress, Jade, who will be able to alter your dresses for you at the shop or her home studio in Hull. There is no obligation to use our seamstress recommendations and you can always use your own seamstress if you’d prefer to do so.

What is the price range of your dresses?
Our designers offer different price ranges. If you have a budget in mind or a designer you prefer just let us know and we can work towards that! AMICA – £119-£149, Six Stories – £99 – £129, Dessy – £245-£345, Sorella Vita – £245 – £345, THTH – £199, Motee Maids – £275+, Abbie Jade £199-£219, We take a 50% deposit on ordering the dresses and the final 50% when your dresses arrive with us.
